You are welcome to this group. We’re happy to have you on the platform. This is the only avenue where you get to meet your old mates and friends, so let’s avail ourselves the opportunity.
For smooth running, we believe the following rules will go a long way to helping us achieve our goal:
Always keep to the purpose of the group (See the constitution for further clarity). Every member should have a common understanding of goals that need to be achieved.
It is required for informal conversation to pause whenever there is announcement and correspondence from the administration. Informal talk continues after necessary comments, suggestions, updates and corrections from the members.
The group is made up of members from various tribes, therefore any language that will promote understanding is welcome. Such may include Yoruba, English and Pidgin. However, for effective communication, the group has agreed on the usage of Ondo dialect as the PRIMARY mode of communication.
It is necessary to note that we are all equal on this platform irrespective of your social status, political affiliation etc.
Don’t be easily offended. You can private chat to settle scores.
Don’t just be a member but at minimum an active member of the group. Being active requires you at least occasionally send audio messages to create discussion or to respond to ongoing conversation. Being super active means you come to the platform daily engaging members for at least half an hour. Members in this category deserve kudos, applause and special commendation for without them there is no platform for anyone. Where do you belong, are you a silent member, active or super active?
Let’s do our best to promote unity. Ensuring unity requires we do not create caucus or sub-group. Respond to messages from all members when necessary.
Do not add/invite members without their consent. Please do politely excuse yourself to the house or admin before you leave the group. Coming back once you exit requires approval from the group. Group approval is not required for person(s) who mistakenly exit the group. It remains in the purview of the administration.
Remember our watch word is UNITY, so no arguing, no heated opinions, no fear mongering, no hyped up drama. Issues resolved and concluded cannot be revisited in a negative light as to arouse provocation and heated debate but only in a positive reference.
Have respect for each other. No abuse, insult and/or vulgar statement except in an informal talk/discussion as we always do to keep the platform running. Respect each other’s idea. Everyone’s opinion should count, but group general agreed opinion/suggestion is superior. No political discussion shall be entertained on the platform.
It is your duty to remind the group about your birthday a day preceding. If you fail to do your part, don’t be offended if your profile picture is not used as the group’s DP for 24 hours.
Be happy in the group. Always wear a smile look, come to the platform to have fun, and rob mind together with others for success.
NOTE: The rules are subject to change. Members are free to add, delete, update and amend when deemed fit. It is our collective rules
